How does vne.email differ from foreign toolkits?

Compared on how they work, not scored against each other.

How this page compares

We don't publish a scorecard rating ourselves against Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho. Their pricing and features change constantly, so such a table would be wrong within months with nobody noticing — and a vendor scoring itself higher than its rivals doesn't help you decide anyway. Instead, here are four differences in HOW THINGS WORK, which don't change with each pricing update. For what they charge exactly, read their own pricing pages.

1. Priced per organisation, not per seat

The large toolkits charge per user: each additional employee is another seat fee, every month. vne.email sells one pooled storage allowance to the organisation, split across as many mailboxes as the plan allows. The consequence: your cost follows the data you actually store, not the number of chairs. Companies with many people who each use little will see the biggest difference; conversely, a handful of people storing enormous amounts gains nothing in particular from this model.

2. Data stored in Vietnam

Servers and data sit inside the country. That matters for organisations with legal data-residency requirements in Vietnam, or those who must answer "where does our customer data live" during tenders and due diligence. Foreign providers store in data centres outside Vietnam; some let you choose a region, and you should ask them directly which region applies to your contract.

3. Vietnamese invoicing and payment

Domestic bank transfer or a VietQR scan, automatic PDF receipts, and VAT invoices using the company details you enter. With foreign providers this is usually an international credit card and a foreign invoice — workable, but extra handling for your accountant.

4. One platform rather than assembled parts

Mail, internal messaging, calendar, file storage, documents and spreadsheets, customer records and invoices — in one place, one login, one bill. Taste the AI assistant on the free plan; real use is on the paid plan — no second invoice. Elsewhere, the customer-records and invoicing parts are usually separate software you buy and wire in. In exchange, each individual piece of ours is not as deep as a specialist product that has done only that for decades.

When you should NOT choose vne.email

There are cases where another choice makes more sense, and saying so plainly saves everyone time:

  • Your company depends on advanced Google Docs or Excel features — complex macros, industry-specific add-ins, documents edited by many people simultaneously all day. Our editors handle everyday work well, but they don't replace those.
  • You need data held in several regions worldwide, or have offices in multiple countries with per-region storage requirements.
  • Your processes are tightly bound to a large integration ecosystem with thousands of third-party apps already wired in.
  • Your procurement mandates a specific international compliance certification. Ask us before assuming — don't discover a gap at signing time.

When it does fit

Companies and organisations working mainly within Vietnam that need professional domain email plus a work toolkit that covers the everyday, want costs that don't rise with each hire, need invoices and support in Vietnamese, and have reason to keep data in the country.

How to verify this yourself rather than trust this page

The free plan lasts indefinitely and needs no credit card, so the quickest check is to create a mailbox on your own domain and judge for yourself. If you'd rather ask first, support answers in Vietnamese.
